O-oka River

The river around Hinode-cho, and Kogane-cho

To me this River is dear for having lived near it for eight years (before we moved to Honmoku) and having fished a lot of gobies (and a meter-long eel*). As you can see from the size of the LandMark Tower this spot is a little away from the sea but the water is salty. On a map, this river flows from sea to sea so it's more like a canal.

*The eel. Under normal circumstances, a grownup eel swims back to the lake where it war born. But this one somehow slipped into this "river" that leads to no lake. The opinions were divided. a) Some eel shop dumped it into this river for some reason. b) It was simply dumb. I gave him a day to answer this questi
